Good job!

Thanks to our driver Armands Bels for a great service:

"I am writing to thank you for such wonderful customer service that I received from yourselves when being picked up from London on 15.8.2015. The driver was extremely kind and understanding when a friend of ours was late to the taxi and offered such lovely customer service. I will definitely be booking from yourself again and will also recommend you to my friends. Thank you again for being such a wonderful cab company!"

Many Thanks,
Reese

Bastille day- don't miss it!

Bastille Day is the name given in English-speaking countries to the French National Day, which is celebrated on 14 July each year. In France, it is formally called La Fête nationale and commonly Le quatorze juillet.  After the end of the official celebration, the day ended in a huge four-day popular feast and people celebrated with fireworks, as well as fine wine and running nudi-rudi through the streets in order to display their great freedom. It was a beautiful Jun day, when our lady driver Liga went back to Paris after the vacation time. It was not just a simple day, it was also a special day for her- her names day!

Our colleagues decided to surprise Liga and made a present in her names day! Check out the pic! Amazing!

Thank you Gints and Romas!

Industry changes

We would like to say a big thank you to all our drivers- for patience, a good customer service and cooperation while the big strike in Paris. You did a great job during the 25th of Jun, when the Paris city was stuck and unsafe.

What actually happened?

Uber is an American company what started to build their business in year 2009 and at the moment they are taking wide actions also in European countries. Their business idea raises critical changes in taxi service market, thus preventing the development of taxi and mini cab companies and smashes the local corporate business. Just about a year ago there was a protest action in United Kingdom. See the video for more information. Of course this was a pretty calm action against industry changes compering to events in Paris. See the video for more information.
This is also one of the reasons for the changes in our activity strategy in London. Because of the fact that Amitours group companies are located in different countries, our business is more balanced in these kind of situations. Either our strategy works good - focusing mostly on airport transfers, what is a stable niche in the transportation business sector. Feel free check out our new brand name for London: Transfers2heathrow (http://www.transfers2heathrow.co.uk/), what already works well. We are planing to achieve even better results in future.

Thanks again for strength and shown loyalty to the company!
